The Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Center has named Susan Craig as the new General Manager.
Craig has joined the team of the property, which is operated by the independent hotel management company RBH.
Having worked in the industry for over 25 years, she will manage the 22-member hotel in a hotel in the heart of Edinburgh, which is currently benefiting from a £ 5.5 million renovation.
Beginning her hospitality career as a food and beverage manager, Craig also worked for Cosmopolitan Hotels as an Area HR Manager before assuming her first General Manager position.
She has overseen the hotels of the RBH portfolio for several years. Her youngest job, however, was at the Airth Castle Hotel & Spa in Falkirk.
Craig said, "I am delighted to be able to start a new chapter in my career at an exciting time for the hotel as our 25-room extension is completed – the final part of our extensive refurbishment program.
"I am also delighted to return to the RBH family, where I have spent much of my career – it's like coming home. I look forward to working with the team to ensure that the best service for visitors to the capital is maintained. "
The multi-million pound refurbishment of the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Center includes a 25-room extension scheduled for completion in July. The total number of available rooms will increase to 186.
