Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, the global luxury boutique brand of IHG, has opened its first hotel in Scotland. Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel.
The Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel is located on one of Edinburgh's most beautiful squares in the Georgian New Town and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 184 rooms and 15 suites are part of seven interconnected Georgian townhouses, including 33, a hotel within a hotel that can be booked exclusively for up to 24 guests.
The room includes the Townhouse Suite, three signature suites, three junior suites and six additional bedrooms. The dining room and the salon can also be used to entertain the guests.

The Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel has restaurants – The Garden, where guests can sit back and relax at any time of the day or night, or at BABA's destination restaurant for a drink or a meal.
Guests can also meet in Kimpton's daily social hour at the on-site BABA Bar, join complimentary fitness and spa classes in the recently refurbished state-of-the-art gym, or enjoy a relaxing spa treatment.
The Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel is the second UK brand opening following the successful opening of Kimpton Fitzroy London in October 2018. Kimpton said it intends to expand its presence in the UK in the coming months with anticipated openings in Glasgow and Manchester.
