The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed a franchise agreement with CL Capital to open its second Voco hotel in Solihull, West Midlands.
According to the group, the 180-room hotel now benefits from the brand's bold and distinctive interior design, which adds warmth and a modern touch after the guest rooms, lobby and on-site restaurant and bar have been "remodeled".
The hotel also offers numerous leisure facilities, including a fully equipped fitness center with an indoor pool, a sauna and a gym. The hotel is managed by Kew Green Hotels (KGH) and is the second Voco property in the UK following the opening of Voco St. David's in Cardiff.
Jane Bowler, general manager of the hotel, said, "This is an incredibly exciting time. [The hotel] will be a fantastic addition to Solihull, and we are proud to be the first Voco property in the Midlands.
